Estranha Forma is a cry of outrage, a call to action, a testimony, a questioning of women who wake up one day, look at their lives, observe their existence and wonder how they got there. It is also a questioning of artistic and sexual education and the environment in which we evolve.
Estranha Forma is that moment in life that turns you upside down, drives you crazy, that every woman has surely experienced, when you question your own existence.
This creation is an introspective solo piece that navigates between memories, imposed roles and buried desires. Estranha forma reflects on femininity, cultural heritage, sex education, body image and all the contradictions we experience when we grow up with rules we did not choose.
